Emerging technologies exist to complement teaching by enhancing differentiation and engagement, not to replace it. The focus should remain on the learning, not the specific technology being used. Technology in its abundance, has become a part of every aspect of life. It is rapidly changing and students must be able to keep up with these changes. They must learn how to navigate through all the information available efficiently and effectively in order to keep up with the complex work environments of the 21st century.

Technology is in every aspect of our lives. Today's students have grown up immersed in a world of technology, so why utilize it in our classrooms. One of our favorite things to do is take virtual field trips. We are able to go anywhere in the world without ever leaving our classroom.
